Daphne Javitch
The Refined Women
“Today, I believe we are each designed and hard-wired to express health. It is my intention to include, guide, and empower everyone with that truth.”
OK, This women is seriously a health ninja. The more I learn about her and listen to her speak, the more I fall in love with her and what she stands for.
For almost 15 years Daphne was a full time smoker. At the age of 34 she had an ovarian cyst which burst inside of her and then discovered there were more cysts about to do the same thing. It was at that time she was diagnosed with stage-4 endometriosis. According to her interview with Rip & Tan, she states she "wasn’t keen on the immediate medical options [she was given] so under the guidance of two teachers [she] got very deep into natural healing"
Not only did it have a profound impact on her life, she loved that she was able to connect with other people in such a personal and empowering way. She goes into the depth of things in her interview on Pardon My French about how her journey has come to be, the pressure of switching careers into the wellness field and real life healing. She also talks about POPCORN. (I just had deja vu.)
She studied at the Hippocrates Institute in FL where she gained her Health Education Certificate, She has studied with the likes of Mary Ruth Ghiyam also known as Mary Ruth Organics and Gil Jacobs who is a Colon Hydrotherapy.
Her practice and website is titled Doing Well which is about to start a pod cast. I cannot wait! Her mantra is that consistency heals, healing through repetition and "Drink More Water!" She knows that every person is different and that it's important to understand where you are, personally, on this healing and health continuum. She also knows that we are not perfect but believes that she can work with you to create a sustainable and healthy lifestyle that is actually "do-able".
