Napasorn Floral Cafe

Bangkok, Thailand

If you are ever in Bangkok, you will probably visit Wat Pho or the Grand Palace. If so, I highly recommend you stop at two places during your trip. The first is the fresh flower market, open 24 hours, the busiest time being at dawn when the delivery trucks drop off their daily supply. The second, right across the street, is the Napasorn Floral Cafe!

I happened to stumble upon this place on my way to the flower market, and I'm so thankful I did. The first floor focuses on floral art, with a small refrigerated space containing fresh flowers and a wall of shelves housing the most romantic ceramic plates, bowls, mugs, and tea cups. My favorite thing about the first floor was the shop cat that greeted me with a purr and a face rub to the feet. It was beyond perfect.

The Second Floor

The space continues to enthrall as you travel up the stairs to the second-floor cafe. I gasped at the sight of it. The interior design is beyond words. Covered in lush green plants hanging from the walls and the ceiling, antiques everywhere, with gorgeous glass chandeliers in the main dining room. It was all too much to take in. I hope the photos do it justice because this is a magical place.

Just living is not enough, one must have sunshine, freedom and a little flower.
