Terra Australis is a collection inspired by the intense beauty of Patagonia, Argentina.
My husband and I spent almost a month traveling through Argentina. There is something about South America that keeps drawing us back. The nature of Argentina is a force so magnetic we could not resist its pull. The sprawling pampas grasslands, the endless estancias, and the vastness of the blue sky will forever be impressed in my memory.
Not only is this collection inspired by the richness of the region but also by the slow, meditative way of life. It is a contemporary approach to the age-old practice of wire-wrapping. Each piece is meticulously wrapped and held together by time and technique.
